Took Brian, Mason, and Bill out on the river today. They got about 12 smallmouth bass, 1 sucker, 1 small walleye, and a few big catfish!

Brought Steve, Joe, and Owen out on the Susky this Saturday. The murky, high, and debris filled river waters are keeping the smallie fishing tough but they still managed to get a few we also did a little catfish fishing too! 12 smallies in the boat and some nice catfish as well, oh a 1 nice walleye! Brought Craig and Tony out today on the Susky. The bass weren't cooperating too well today, but they still managed to get a few nice ones! 16 smallies in the boat. Then we did a little bit of catfish fishing for some tasty fillets! They got a nice bunch of Cats, check out the better ones in the pics! Wow, did that river rise quick yesterday! Conditions were terrible on the river today. Some debris floating down and 0" of visibility. I brought Vic and Jody out on the river today in the lovely wind and rain! Jody was there to enjoy the boat ride and let Vic do all the catching! 28 Smallmouth in the boat, not bad considering the conditions! Had a great weekend of fishing with Dennis Mary! They came in on Friday afternoon and went right to doing what they love to do....CATCHING SMALLIES! That 4 Hr afternoon trip only yielded 31 Smallmouth but they got a few good ones! Saturday was a great day and a surprising one too! The fog kept us away from the best spots for a good 3-4hrs in the morning but we eventually got to the good stuff! Dennis and Mary caught their 1,000th Smallmouth Bass with Boyd's NEPA Guiding Service how awesome is that! Check out the Pic! The boat tallied 119 smallmouth bass, a few green sunfish, and a Walleye on this fine day! Sunday was great as well! The weather was awesome, we saw plenty of wildlife including a pair of nesting eagles doing their amazing aerial dance! The fishing was spectacular and it was the highest number of bass I have ever had in the boat in 10hrs of fishing! 221 Smallmouth in the boat! We got a few green Sunfish, a couple of rock bass, a nice Walleye, and a sucker too! Some really nice fish made it in the boat over the weekend! Check out the pics! Had the pleasure of taking out Al today. 54 smallies made it in the boat in this 8hr trip. We had to wait for the fog to clear this morning, so we fished right in Tunkhannock for a few hours. 100% visibility is a must when navigating through the skinny riffs with that reallly low water!
Brought out John and Andrew on the river Saturday for a 6 hr adventure! 62 Smallies in the boat plus a Green Sunfish and a Sucker! The susky runs low but the fishing is GREAT! Check out the fish we caught this weekend! Cats with a side order of smallies on Saturday and a smallie beat down on Sunday! Brian and Jeff were pulling in the cats and bass with a few nice channel cats and over 20 smallies. David and William were smoking the smallies on Sunday with 104 smallmouth, 3 suckers, and 2 green sunfish! 4.5hrs of fishing with my Dad for the second week in a row!........82 smallmouth and 3green sunfish! Oh what fun the susky is! They are chewing for sure! I love the low water, the Rock Proof proves it's worth when the river gets this low! 4hrs of fishing with my Dad!.......55 smallies and a green sunfish! At least 8 different eagles and a half dozen Deer spotted on the morning boat ride. Even saw an Egret! |
