Brought out Dennis and Mary on Saturday for some Smallmouth Bass fishing. 33 Smallmouth and a Green Sunfish in the boat. Nice job on a tough day!

Brought Craig and Tony on Friday...the fish was a bit tough but they still boated over 40 smallmouth bass, a Largemouth bass, a Crappie, 2 Rock Bass, and a BIG Walleye at 8.08lbs and almost 30"! Brought out Dennis and Mary on the river Saturday, 53 smallmouth in the boat. Biggest went 3.83lb caught by Dennis. 2 hundreths of a pound from the lunker of the year! Also caught by Dennis! Brought out Dennis and Mary again on Sunday in the rain! They got them good and thanks to a tip from Allen Casal, they got a few on Topwater too! 57 Smallmouth, 1 Rock Bass, and 1 Green Sunfish! Got to do a little fishing with an old friend (Neil Marcen)on a stretch of the Susky that I have never fished! We had fun and enjoyed a peaceful day on an overlooked stretch of the river! I am going to start offering charters on the peace of water! It has very little boat traffic up there! 60 Smallies in the boat, biggest was just shy of 4lbs. Lots of fish from 2-3.5lbs! We had fun! Clients got them again today....36 smallmouth in 4hrs! Not bad at all. After the charter I decided to go back out and catch a few....I got 28 before I had to leave. My clients had fun today! Warren and Emma had a good day.... 71 smallmouth in the boat today! Good day on the river! I managed to catch a Northern Pike around 28" as well. Love that river! Brought out Stan and Paul on this breezy day on the Susky. The murky water didn't keep em from biting. 44 Smallmouth in the boat! Nice work! Brought Rudy and Nick out on the Susquehanna this moring. The water was murky and the current was swift but they managed to put 38 Smallmouth in the boat! Good job guys! Brought out Dennis and Mary on Saturday and Sunday. Over the course of 2 days there were 118 Smallmouth Bass put in the boat! Mary also caught 2 Rock bass. Dennis took the lead as a new Lunker Leader with a 3.85lb Smallmouth Bass! Mary also caught 2 that were just a few ounces shy of that mark! The rain was a bugger to deal with but they toughed it out on Sunday. Mary also hooked and had a short battle with a good size Musky(easily 40" range). It made some hard drag squealing runs then came to the surface, opened its big jaws, thrashed it's head and broke the line....sharp teeth on those fish! Brought out Drew and George on this beautiful spring Sunday for a 6hr Charter. The smallies were biting good and they got 54 Smallmouth in the boat. A new lunker leader fish too at 3.65lb. The Lunker Leader has changed a lot these past couple weeks! |
